While visiting Washington University in St. Louis, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy healthy and delicious meals provided by our dining service, Bon Appetit. Bon Appetit is a unique dining service in that it is dedicated to sustainability and making a positive impact on the community and environment. By purchasing ingredients from local farmers and artisans, Bon Appetit supports sustainable farming and gives back to the community.
During the summer, restaurant-style food will be served at the Danforth University Center. Guests may enjoy American, Mediterranean, Asian, and Latin inspired cuisine. Summer guests may purchase food with cash, credit card, or with a university meal card at the Danforth University Center. Meal cards may be ordered by group Program Directors prior to the conference.
In addition to daily food service, Bon Appetit offers an outstanding catering menu. If your program chooses to have a special event, reception, or simply wants coffee service, the catering team at Bon Appetit will ensure your needs are met. Buffets, served entrees, boxed lunches, snacks, beverages, and bar service are all available through Bon Appetit catering.
Poultry is free of hormones and antibiotics; turkey and beef are roasted in-house daily for deli meat.
Salsas, sauces, pizzas, and soups are all made from scratch and vegetarian options are available at each meal.
Bon Appetit strives to provide organic options and uses locally grown produce whenever possible.
