Looking for intern or research housing in St. Louis this summer? WashU is proud to offer St. Louis’ premier intern and research housing to WashU and Non-WashU Students, 18 years or older participating in an academic internship or research project.
2024 Summer Intern & Research Housing Dates
- Wash U and Non-Wash U students can move in on or after Sunday, May 26th and must move out before or on Saturday, August 10th.
2024 Summer Rate Information & Benefits
$2,800 Summer Flat Rate *+application fee $30*

2024 Summer Dedicated Apartments for Interns and Researchers
- 3 single bedrooms in each apartment
- Full kitchen, including stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher (pots and pans are not included)
- Living room furniture and TV
- One bathroom, including vanity, toilet and tub with shower
- Each single bedroom has one full size bed, one dresser, one desk, one chair and a small bookcase/nightstand, and closet (linens are not provided)
- WIFI Internet access and Cable TV Connection included
- Utilities, including air-conditioning
- Garage Parking*
- Smoke-free environment
**Please note that parking there will be $100 fee**
- 3 to 8 bedroom apartments
- Living room and dining room furniture

Summer Building/Room Assignments
- Specific apartment or room requests cannot be accommodated
- Students will be notified of their summer housing assignment in mid-May
- All bedrooms will be assigned to students at random unless a mutual suitemate is requested
- All random assignments will be made according to gender
Summer Dining
- Dining is available in the Danforth University Center on the Danforth Campus
- Campus dining accepts credit card or Bear Bucks which can be added via your Webstac account
Summer Parking
- Summer parking passes will only be permitted to park in their designated garages/lots
- Some buildings require summer parking passes to be purchased. You can find out more information by clicking here
Summer Shuttle/Public Transportation Information

Summer Housing Cancellations
You may cancel your reservation by completing a Summer Housing Reservation Cancellation Form.
Failure to cancel your reservation 30 business days prior to your scheduled check-in will result in a $200 fee.
If cancellation of reservation is received by the Office of Summer Programs and Conference Services in writing more than 30 days prior to Guest’s scheduled arrival, full payment will be refunded. If cancellation of the reservation is not received 30 days prior, a cancellation fee of $200.00 will apply. If you are a summer school student applying to summer school housing and your class is cancelled you will receive a full refund.
